The Board of VHAP are committed individuals personally aware of the plight for our veterans and first responders needing medical care beyond their current resources.
Dan Severn
Dan Severn, a retired American mixed martial artist and professional wrestler, is a UFC Hall of Famer with a record of 101-19-7. He was the first world-class wrestler to compete in the UFC and won the UFC 5 Tournament and the Ultimate Ultimate 1995 Tournament. Severn also held the UFC Superfight Championship and trained notable fighters like Rashad Evans and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
Kevin Gilligan
Kevin Gilligan, a retired New York City Housing Police Officer, has 40 years of experience in exercise research and development. He pioneered the F.I.T. exercise system and advanced EECP and HBOT health technologies. He holds an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy and various fitness certifications.
Matt Pappas
Matt Pappas, a lawyer since 1994, specializes in legal representation for the medical marijuana industry. He provides services in site acquisition, business development, and civil and criminal defense. With a J.D. from Western State University, Pappas has a strong background in civil rights, regulatory compliance, and healthcare issues.
Christopher Neiweem
Christopher Neiweem, founder of Neiweem Group, is a government affairs expert with over 10 years of experience. He has managed public policy campaigns for various industries and served as a military police sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve. Neiweem holds a Master's in Political Affairs and has been featured in major news outlets.
Doug Wheeler
Doug Wheeler, founder of Olympic Surgical & Olympic Regen, boasts a diverse career in sales, marketing, and business development. Starting with roles at Four Seasons Hotels and Enterprise Car Rental, he transitioned to the medical sector with positions at Allergan Pharmaceuticals and Globus Medical. Wheeler, who holds an MS in Criminology/Profiling and an MBA in International Business, specializes in neurosurgery, orthopedics, and regenerative biologics.
